Privacy Policy

Effective: June 25, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how My Momentum LLC (“My Momentum,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the MyMomentum app and website (the “Service”). My Momentum LLC is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. We take your privacy seriously: your sessions are personal, and we treat them that way.

1. Who can use MyMomentum

The Service is intended for adults 18 years of age or older. By using MyMomentum you confirm you are at least 18.

1a. Sensitive content & safety screening

Because the Service involves reflecting on personal topics, you may share content about your emotional or physical wellbeing. We screen your free-text inputs and chat messages against patterns associated with crisis (self-harm, harm to others, active psychosis), with use by minors, and with topics that warrant a cautionary note (trauma, grief, eating disorders, substance use, certain medical conditions, pregnancy). Screening happens both in your browser and on our servers solely to protect you and to keep the Service within its intended scope. We do not use this screening to profile you, advertise to you, or share results with third parties. The Service is not a medical, psychological, or therapeutic service, and information you share is not subject to clinician–patient confidentiality (such as HIPAA).

2. Information we collect

  • Account information. When you sign up we collect your email address and a securely hashed password, or, if you sign in with Google, the basic profile information Google returns (name, email, profile picture).
  • Profile preferences. Display name, preferred voice, induction length, processing style, optional personal notes, and optional name pronunciation recording.
  • Session content. The focus topic you describe, your answers in the discovery chat, the generated script, and the audio rendering of that script.
  • Aggregate site analytics. Anonymized visit data (page viewed, country, device type). We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.

3. How we use your information

  • To create your account and let you sign in.
  • To generate, store, and play back your personalized sessions.
  • To apply the defaults you save (voice, ambience, induction length, etc.).
  • To keep the Service secure, monitor for abuse, and fix bugs.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your session content for marketing and we do not share your account information with third parties for advertising.

4. AI processing, payments & subprocessors

Generating a session involves sending text to specialized AI providers. We act as a controller for your data and use the following processors:

  • Lovable Cloud — hosts our database, authentication, file storage, and server functions. Your account, profile, and session records live here, protected by per-user access rules.
  • Lovable AI Gateway (Google Gemini) — receives the topic, your discovery-chat messages, and prompts in order to generate your script. According to the gateway’s terms, prompts and outputs are not used to train the underlying models. Data may be retained briefly for abuse monitoring and operational logging.
  • ElevenLabs — receives the finished script text in order to synthesize the spoken audio. ElevenLabs does not use API content to train voice models.
  • Google OAuth — only if you choose “Sign in with Google,” to confirm your identity.
  • Paddle.com, Inc. — our Merchant of Record for payment processing. Paddle receives your email address, billing details, and transaction information to process payments, manage subscriptions, handle taxes and invoicing, and provide refunds. Paddle acts as a data processor for this purpose and is bound by its own privacy and data-processing obligations.

4a. Legal basis for processing

We process your personal data on the following legal bases:

  • Contract performance — to create your account, provide the Service, and fulfill your subscription.
  • Legitimate interests — to keep the Service secure, monitor for abuse, fix bugs, and improve the product.
  • Consent — where you explicitly opt in to optional features (for example, optional analytics or marketing communications).
  • Legal obligation — to comply with applicable laws, tax requirements, or lawful requests from authorities.

5. Your sessions are private

Your profile, discovery conversations, scripts, and audio recordings are scoped to your account. Our database enforces row-level security so other users cannot read or write your data, and audio files are stored in private buckets served via short-lived signed links. As the operator of the Service we have administrative access to the database and storage and may access your content only when necessary to operate, troubleshoot, or secure the Service, or when required by law.

6. Data retention & deletion

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. Sessions created on a free account are automatically deleted one year after they are created. If you have ever had a paid subscription, your sessions are retained for as long as your account is active, even after a paid subscription ends. You can delete a session from the “My sessions” page at any time. You can delete your entire account — including all sessions, audio, recordings, and profile data — from Profile → Delete my account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

7. Security

We use industry-standard practices: TLS encryption in transit, hashed passwords, per-user database policies, private storage buckets, and signed, time-limited URLs for audio files. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using safeguards consistent with the sensitivity of the data.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under GDPR or the CCPA) you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To make a request, email us at info@mymomentumworks.com. You can also exercise the core of these rights directly in the app via your Profile page.

9. Not medical advice

MyMomentum is for relaxation and self-improvement. It is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or psychiatric care. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (in the US) or your local emergency number.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service evolves. We will update the “Effective” date at the top, and for material changes we will notify you in the app or by email.
